Eggsperiment

Greetings fellow Scientists!

Meet the star of our today's session:

We conducted two EGGsperiments:

In the first one, we answered the following question: What are egg shells made of? Crushed egg shells were reacted with hydrochloric acid. The gas released was passed through limewater which turned milky/cloudy (carbon dioxide was released).
Egg shells are made out calcium carbonate.

The second EGGsperiment aimed at measuring how much gas can be released in this reaction:

We also set up an experiment where the whole raw egg was immersed in hydrochloric acid:

Update soon as this experiment requires time :)
