In our last session of this year, we finished our disco holders by filling in the gaps with some wall filler:
The last bit to do is to remove the excess filler, polish the edges and voila :)

Christmas art project - session 2
Greetings fellow Scientists!
In today's session we continued working on our pencil holders.
We managed to glue all the pieces on. Next week we are going to fill in the gaps with wall filler.

Christmas art project - session 1
Greetings fellow Scientists!
The Smarties Science Club members are embracing the Christmas spirit by making gifts for our loved ones. The first project is a brush or crayons holder. Here is the video that inspired us to do it:
We started by cutting the CDs into tiny pieces:
Next, we went to DT where we used the hot glue guns to put the pieces of CD onto the jars we wanted to decorate:
If you decide to try this at home be careful with the hot glue gun as we had a casualty :) Here's Lewis with a slightly burnt finger:
