Greetings fellow Scientists!

Yesterday I visited our partner school, Gimnazjum no 4 in Stargard, Poland. The winners of the photo competition, "Science through your eyes", received their prizes:

Hydroponics experiment - THE CRUNCH

Greetings fellow Scientists!

Our first experiment focused on hydroponics. Hydroponics is a way of cultivating plants by putting the roots in liquid nutrient solutions (not in soil). Our radish seedlings were placed in the environment with different Sachs solutions:
- all nutrients are present
- solution lacking phosphorus
- solution lacking nitrogen
- solution lacking potassium.

We are going to see how each solution is going to affect the growth.
