Trip to Poland - day 3

Greetings fellow Scientists!

Today we visited Szczecin - the capital of Western Pomerania. Here are Wały Chrobrego, one of the best known sites in this part of Poland. It overlooks the Odra River.

Next stop, we had a chance to explore the bunker from the Second World War as a part of the "Underground Szczecin" exhibition.

After that, a quick walk in Jasne Błonie. It's a perfect place to relax. This time of the year you can also admire here thousands of blooming crocuses.

As Science enthusiasts, we had to visit Eureka Science Centre.

We also visited the Transport Museum which showcased some of the most famous cars, trams and coaches ever produced in Poland.

We were also treated to a private organ concert at the Cathedral of St. James the Apostle.

Shopping is a must hence the visit to Galaxy Shopping Centre.

On the way back our coach broke down which was a perfect excuse to admire the sunset, explore the graffiti around the area and pose for endless selfies while we were waiting for the second coach to turn up.
